Event-full Planning by Clare is run by Clare Beltrand. She has been living in the College Station area for 35 years. She has had this business for about a year and a half and does weddings locally in the Bryan/College Station area. She has an office where she consults with brides and offers advice. She offers several different packages of services with different price points for brides to choose from.
The mission statement is
"Let us manage the details while you enjoy the moment”

Most of her clients choose the "day of" coordination package. She helps with some of the details before, but then really runs the event on the day it occurs.

Intern Responsibilities

Job Description:
Assistant for wedding day coordination, developing timelines, and helping with organization of the wedding plans as well as being fully available for the weddings days.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Someone who is timely, organized and willing to help wherever is needed.

Benefits and Opportunties:
I was paid $10/hour and also received tips from the bride and groom for a couple weddings. Another perk was very flexible working hours and a chance to really learn from my boss! All the clients were super nice and fun to work for.

Achievements

This internship was so much fun! I helped with making the day of timelines and putting them into a readable and fun format. Most of my responsibilities occurred on the day of the weddings. Since Event-full Planning is such a small business the actual planning logistics were handled by my boss before I was hired in August. I helped with all the last minute details.

The day of the weddings I would arrive early or the day before and help finish decorating. Of the three weddings that occurred, they hired us for just "day of" coordination. I ran the rehearsal dinner for one wedding and ended up running that wedding by myself the next day due to a family emergency that came up for my boss.

I also helped to decorate, put together place settings, clear tables, serve cake and make sure everyone was in and out on time.

I learned great leadership skills along with how to make quick decisions to bett
er the event. I learned how to be flexible with time and how to engage with people and make sure their needs were met.

I learned a lot through this internship. Not only was Clare wonderful to work for, she made to sure to give me opportunities to grow and lead the in different ways. I really got to understand what being a wedding planner looks like and the responsibilities that it has.
